I like to create a plan for my weekend reading or else it doesn’t get done. Reading, for me, is much easier during the week when I’m on a structured schedule with work and kids. The weekend, however, is the wild west in my home.
I don’t get too detailed or set unreasonable expectations, but I do know what book(s) I’ll be reading. This weekend, I’m studying Flow by Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi and for fun, I’m reading A Gentleman in Moscow by Amor Towles.
I plan to get an hour of study in each day with recreational reading at night when everyone winds down and the lights are low.
What are you reading this weekend?
Until tomorrow, read slowly – take notes – apply the ideas.
