The Happiness Hypothesis by Jonathan Haidt

The Happiness Hypothesis by Jonathan Haidt

Jonathan Haidt’s book, The Happiness Hypothesis is a junction between philosophical frameworks and today’s real-world living. You’re going to love his take on the division of the soul, particularly the analogy of the elephant (passion) and the rider (reason). I talk about this book in a recent podcast along with two other books that have helped me find happiness post Mormonism. I stepped away from being Mormon for many reasons, but the impetus was needing to think for myself. Side note – I’ve never been happier in my life.

This book was recommended in my weekly newsletter on February 7, 2024.
