15 Reasons to Read a Book

If you read a book for 30 minutes today, several things will happen:

  • Increased focus, patience, and mental clarity.

  • A sense of control will exist in your day.
  • Your intellect will increase.

  • Reduced stress and a chance to unwind.
  • Improved memory and cognitive skills.

  • Enhanced writing skills.
  • A sense of accomplishment.
  • Increased concentration and attention span.
  • Improved problem-solving abilities.
  • Feeling more relaxed and happier.

If you DON’T read a book for 30 minutes in favor of more email time, Netflix, unimportant meetings, or mindless scrolling – these benefits will not be forthcoming.
