The Six Mistakes of Man

The best part about reading is that you find shelter in great ideas. Cicero (106 – 43 BCE) was a Roman statesman, orator, and writer. Today, I bumbled into The Six Mistakes of Man which is generally attributed to him. Have a look, and let me know what you think.

The Six Mistakes of Man

  1. Believing that personal gain is made by crushing others
  2. Worrying about things that cannot be changed or corrected
  3. Insisting that a thing is impossible because we cannot accomplish it
  4. Refusing to set aside trivial preferences
  5. Neglecting development and refinement of the mind
  6. Attempting to compel others to believe and live as we do

Until tomorrow, read slowly – take notes – apply the ideas.
