Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoyevsky

Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoyevsky

🤟 Why do I love this book?

It’s a psychological thriller wrapped up in a giant philosophical question: Do our actions matter? Dostoyevsky puts his protagonist, a student named Raskolnikov, in an ethical dilemma that’s fascinating to read.

I won’t ruin it for you, but here’s what you need to know —> Raskolnikov believes he can do dastardly deeds as long as they are justified for the greater good. 😱

As he performs his little experiments (Crime), we see what happens to him psychologically and emotionally (Punishment).
