  1. The practice of focused reading has been very helpful. Removing my phone has been great, not hearing the message beeps.

  2. My commitment to this Reading Challenge was my first success. Setting time aside to read was second, as well as being able to read with focus. I feel like my biggest challenges were putting off my reading until after work or before bed. I would like to read in the a.m. The timer was helpful and I completed each reading assignment. My focus felt more acute and I learned that the type of reading content I choose has to be captivating and interesting to keep me reading, so choosing the right type of book is of utmost importance and one that is at my reading level or slightly above it.
