  1. This is probably the thing I struggle with the most. I feel like my previous days of reading this book were “wasted” if I do not finish it, and by finishing it all the boring days get meaning. I think this is the main reason I go through phases of not reading at all. I’ll make an effort next time to actually put down an awful book and not feel obligated to finish it

  2. I think realizing years ago that I did not have to finish a book if I didn’t like it was one of the reasons I have continued to read. At first I had the 50 page rule but changed it to 100 when I realized some books just have slow starts. I continue to read “Let Them” and think it is well written by a very thoughtful author. So far I’ve read 1 and1/2 of my three and don’t need to change any yet.
